Template & Upgrade

Posted January 24th, 2008 in Archive and tagged by Darfuria

I finally upgraded to WordPress 2.3 and I put a somewhat minimalist theme together. I’ll make a few changes, but I quite like the simplicity of it.

  1. I love it! It’s so YOU. Well….the new, reformed you. We all change as time goes on and this reflects your changes.  Big smiles! x

I think the default font size could do with bumping up a bit. I hate having to sturggle to read text on websites. And another point while I’m at it – maybe give the right hand sidebar more padding? Would give it a bit more room to breathe.

If I increase the font size then it gets really big and looks horrible. I will give the sidebar some padding though.

Only very slightly increase the font size. I don’t think it makes it look horrible, it just makes for more comfortable reading. If it’s a site primarily full of text, you want to make sure that text is as comfortable as possible to read, right?

At the moment I’m just using a site-wide pixel size for text, which is very unaccessible of me. I guess I’ll go and change it all to percentage values a little bit later, though personally I really like small fonts.

I like it. it’s simple. It also reminds me of james’s (another blogger I know ) old blog design.

I’ll probably make a few changes to it when I’m in the mood, but I quite like it as well.
