This is actually a serious invention idea of mine.
Too often do you see lots of people walking around with far too many carrier bags, which not only hurt your hands, but are far too hard to manage when you need to put them down and pick them up again.
What I was thinking of was a larger version of those metal keyring hooks, where you pull the little switch and the loop opens, allowing you to clip it to your belt.
Basically this is a round piece of metal which is padded with foam and rubber, or something. You pull the switch down and push the handles of all the carrier bags onto the clip, and then close it again. So not only can you carry all the bags easier, but they don’t cut into your fingers either.
However, you don’t actually clip the bags to your belt with this enlarged keyring holder, because that could become the cause of indecent exposure.

You’re a fucking genius. XD
Bag holder’s bag holder of bag holding.
AHahahh. Can’t wait to see them try and say that on commercials.
Hey,
I’m working on a pretty similar problem with a bit different concept for solution right now. Instead of attaching the “hooks” to the body, they will remain a seperate part, but will hopefully solve the problem of the “sharp side od the plastic”. Love to see some sketches if you have.
Heh. I’ve never really been much of an artist in the way of drawings and doodles, so I haven’t really taken any of these things to the step where I have them planned with dimensions and prototypes.
You’re thinking about the problem at a low-level. The real problem is that hands need to be redesigned…
