“If you could have one super power, what would it be?” Pretty much everyone has been asked, and has answered, this question. Everyone dreams of being able to do something, or lots of things, which are currently beyond the power of humans. I’m sure everyone also lets themself drift into the world of their imagination, where they live the life they lead now, only as the person with the power(s) they wish they had.

If I could choose a super power, it would definitely be teleporation. I wish I could just disappear and instantly reappear in any place I chose. Sure, being able to fly would be nice, or being able to turn invisible, but simply being able to be anywhere you wanted, whenever you wanted, would be so amazing.

Just thinking of all of the places I travel to and from on a daily basis. All of the people I know in different countries. All of the time I waste waiting for public transport, and all of the time I spend on public transport. All of the time I spend wishing I was somewhere else, or wishing I could get to that somewhere else.

I wouldn’t have to get up at a stupid hour in the morning to get to work. I wouldn’t have to stand in the cold and rain to wait for the bus. I wouldn’t have to pay money to travel. I wouldn’t have to be limited by the cost of flights and staying in other countries. I could just be where I wanted to be, and return to wherever I needed to, whenever I needed to. If I could take other people with me, when I teleported, bonus!

Imagine how awesome it would be to teleport to a place to see a friend in a different country, and maybe even take them back home with you. Or imagine how amazing it would be to just take a week off, and instead of having to pay for flights and hotels, just teleport to that country, and teleport back to your bedroom for the night. I really can’t see the power ever losing its awesomeness, and I wish I could do it so much.

I’d so be in Ireland right now, if I could teleport. Hell, just let me teleport within the UK, that’d be good enough.
