Friday the 13th

Posted July 13th, 2007 in Archive by Darfuria

I made a post a little while back about the number 13. As today is Friday the 13th, and has slightly lived up to its so-called reptuation, I thought I would blog about it.

Today was actually quite a weird day, and I didn’t really tie the weirdness of it down to it being Friday the 13th until just a minute ago. So, below are the odd things that happened:

  • I was training a woman in Dreamweaver today at work. She managed to bring the completely wrong files with her on her USB flash memory drive.
  • After 3 years of being on the market, Blizzard, the developers of World of Warcraft have lowered the level of one of the low-level NPCs in the game. It’s amazing that after 3 years they would change the level of such an insignificant.
  • I went to dabs.com to link a friend to the external harddrive I bought just before I went to Ireland only to see that on today’s hot deals they had the same model harddrive, twice the size, for only £15 more.

Quite an oddly interesting and slightly annoying Friday 13th.

P.S. – If you are considering getting an external harddrive, I’d recommend this one (which is the one currently on offer), or at least one from this series. It’s super-fast, super-light, super-nice, super-cheap, has a super blue LED on the front. All in all it is simply super.

  5. I’ve only ever had one bad thing happen to me on a Friday the 13th, my nan died on that day October last year. Other than that, nadda.
