If you ever dwell on the thought of actually moving a long way away from somewhere you’ve spent a lot of your life, then you begin to imagine what life would be without seeing those things you see every day.In my case, when I think about it, it’s a bridge and train station in a district of the city I live in. I don’t know why that bridge holds any sentimental value, as nothing special has never really happened there. I’ve just gone under it a lot of times. However, if I ever picture myself leaving the country or something, I find it really hard to imagine life without going under that bridge.

I actually feel the same way about that bridge. I’ve been under it so many times now, over it quite a few, and I’ve stared at it for hours! I suppose, for me, it represents a couple of things. Going under it in one direction, it’s the gateway to an interesting day ahead. In the other direction, it’s the gateway to home.
